It is our great pleasure to present this text book ‘Economics-II’ especially prepared for the students of Grade XII according to the new curriculum of Grade XII prescribed by Curriculum Development Centre (CDC) of Nepal.
This book aims to develop students’ understanding of the microeconomic and macroeconomic concepts in order to enhance their skill to analyse some economic principles and methods. Microeconomics is the study of economic actions of individual economic units of the economy. It generally covers demand analysis, product pricing and factor pricing. This needs the behaviour of consumers and producers in the demand side and the supply side. On the other hand, Macroeconomics is the study of the economy as a whole. It is basically related with income and employment and factors affecting them.
